ABOUT US
Blue Tile Pictures create cinematic stories for adventurous travel brands, destinations and people who share our values. We are drawn to projects that respect nature, honour cultural heritage, support local communities and create meaningful experiences.
We bring these stories to life through thoughtful, emotive filmmaking that reveals not only a place, but the purpose and people behind it.
Founders Adam & Tania bring more than 30 years of combined experience across film, photography and advertising. Together, they spent five years travelling full-time, from Iceland and Costa Rica to Tanzania, capturing the people, places and adventures that shaped their journey.
They are now based in Devon, England, raising their toddler and building a life rooted in nature, community and conscious living.
Our name is inspired by Portugal’s iconic 'azulejos', hand-painted blue tiles celebrated for their craftsmanship and visual storytelling.
Like each tile within a larger scene, our films bring together detail, place and the human experience to create emotive, beautifully told stories.

Destination Showreel
We are experienced in working with Tourism Boards from Bhutan to Ireland to provide a suite of assets that inspire people to visit your country. We connect with the people who give a place its heart, seeking out portraits, local interactions, food and the small details that make a destination feel vivid and alive.
Through thoughtful editing, we build an atmosphere that helps viewers feel the pull of a place, imagine themselves there and move it to the top of their bucket list. Each project can be shaped around a social-first campaign, with a versatile library of films, cutdowns and photography created for websites, digital campaigns, print and out-of-home advertising.
Vegan Agrivilla i Pini Tuscany
When we first discovered Agrivilla i Pini, it felt like the kind of project we'd always hoped to work on. A family-owned luxury retreat nestled in the Tuscan hills, bringing thoughtful design, organic farming and a completely plant-based dining experience with an unwavering commitment to sustainability. Every aspect of the property felt aligned with the stories we love to tell.
We were commissioned to create a collection of photography and a cinematic brand film that would immerse future guests in the experience of staying there. Beyond capturing beautiful spaces, we focused on the people, the food, the landscape and the quiet moments that make Agrivilla so distinctive, creating a visual library for the brand's website and social channels.
Nomad Tanzania
Known for setting the benchmark in responsible safari travel, Nomad Tanzania has built its reputation on conservation, ethical tourism and a genuine commitment to empowering local communities and protecting the wild places they call home.
We spent a week travelling across two of Nomad's camps, experiencing each location as guests while documenting it from the inside. Alongside capturing cinematic wildlife and landscape footage, we photographed the finer details of camp life and conducted interviews with the people whose passion and knowledge bring the Nomad experience to life.
The result was a collection of films and photography designed to showcase not just the destination, but the philosophy behind it. Used across Nomad's website, social channels and by travel partners around the world, the content gives future guests a genuine sense of what it feels like to experience a Nomad Tazania safari.
Castlenau des Fieumarcon
Castelnau des Fieumarcon is an 800-year-old privately owned village nestled in the heart of France. The owner gave us an open brief, with only one request: that we highlight the rich history of this location. We chose to narrate this film to bring the past to life. This remarkable destination, perfect for weddings and artist gatherings, boasts 14 individual houses, each adorned with rustic details that whisper stories of yesteryears.
Our aim was to immerse the viewer in the allure of the village, where every stone, every corner, and every house exudes a sense of romanticism and timeless beauty. Showcases a perfect blend of history and intimacy, making it the ideal setting for unforgettable moments.
Palácio Belmonte
The 8th Century Palácio Belmonte is Lisbon’s oldest and most storied palace, frequented by artists as well as nation’s presidents.
Our brief was simple; to “capture the essence and atmosphere of the grounds”. To ensure that we became acquainted with the space and appreciated the natural light that floods the rooms at different times of day, the then-owner (Frederic) insisted that we stay at the property. By virtue of immersing ourselves in the space, we soon understood this was in fact a living, breathing museum. This inspired us to highlighting the artwork, sculptures and other intricate details such as the original azulejos dating back to 1725, in our final film. We also chose to interview Frederic about his property and used a soundbite to highlight the craftsmanship of his restoration approach, adding an intimacy and personality to the film.
